Battery Impedance Spectroscopy for SOH Estimation
Swedish Electromobility Centre and theme Energy Storage are happy to invite you to a workshop on “Battery Impedance Spectroscopy for SOH Estimation”.
We are arranging a workshop in Linköping in January on impedance spectroscopy for state of health estimation of batteries. The primary goal is simply to meet, discuss and share the different partner’s knowledge on battery impedance spectroscopy. In the workshop presentations, we will cover a range of topics starting by introducing the complex impedance and its relation to the Nyquist diagram. Then we’ll give a coupling between the battery chemistry and the resulting impedances. This will be followed up in a presentation where we couple the physical processes of aging and how they couple to the impedance measurements to give a diagnostic tool.
Then we’ll cover different techniques where two different high frequency stimuli methods are applied to monitor the battery state. Thereafter, we’ll look at the industrial perspectives with the impact of measurement setup and also discuss the connection between aging, capacity fade and impedance.
WHEN: Friday, 19 January, 10.00-15.00.
WHERE: Conference room of “Sky Hotel Apartments”; Tombyvägen 1, 582 73 Linköping. Map with directions will be sent to registered participant on the 15 January.
REGISTRATION: Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with you name, affiliation and possibly allergies or special food requirements, at the latest 12 January.
COST: Participation is free of charge.
QUESTIONS: Please contact Lars eriksson or Anti Liivat.
