Evelina Wikner, division of Electric Power Engineering, who recently defended her doctoral thesis on ‘Ageing in Commercial Li-ion Batteries’, was this week interviewed by NyTeknik on how to extend the life-span of Li-ion batteries.
One conclusion is that the state of charge should be kept under 40 percent of the maximum capacity.
