Digital lunch seminar
7 April, 2021,12:00-12:30
Welcome to the Doctoral student network digital lunch seminar, 12:00-12:30, 7 April 2021.
Björn Hasselgren & Elin Näsström, Trafikverket
”Calculation models”
Björn Hasselgren and Elin Näsström will present the financial calculation tool developed by the Swedish Transport Administration in collaboration with EY. The model takes the perspective of the different actors in the road transport sector and supporting sub-systems basically comparing the cost of diesel-powered HDTs with different electrification alternatives, such as ERS, batteries/stationary charging and H2/FC. Cost and income statements in a yearly firm-perspective are calculated for the different actors. The model and its results will be presented in the seminar.

Since 2016, he has been working with the electrification of HDT in the road transport market. With a PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology he is also involved in transport related research e.g. as a guest researcher at Uppsala University.
