The SEC Doctoral Network welcomes Harrison John Bhatti from VTI to present at the February webinar.

 

About Harrison John Bhatti

Harrison John Bhatti finished his Ph.D. (Tech.) in Innovation Sciences, specialising in Industrial Management in energy and transport systems. During his Ph.D., Bhatti studied the system approach, enabling him to explore and comprehend complex systems. In his recent work Bhatti have developed an analytical tool called the “Multidimensional readiness Index” model that provides an innovative approach to explore and understand the international development of transport electrification in various countries from all four perspectives, i.e., technology, political, societal, and economic. Bhatti is passionate about exploring and developing an understanding of the transformation of transport from a systems perspective.

The Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) is an internationally prominent research institute in the transport sector whose principal task is to conduct research and development related to infrastructure, traffic, transport, and mobility users. The Institute is an assignment-based authority under the Swedish Ministry of Infrastructure, dedicated to continuously developing knowledge relevant to the transport sector and, in this way, actively contributing to achieving the Swedish transport policy objectives.
