IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute is an independent research institute in the fields of environment and sustainability, with Sweden’s most extensive environmental profile. IVL works with applied research and consulting projects in close collaboration with the private and public sectors. IVL has over 300 employees, mainly in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, but also representation in China and India. Erik Emilsson is project manager in research and assignments relating to the sustainability of electrification of transportation, and the rest of society. Recently he has been working with resource flows of critical raw materials and lithium-ion battery recycling. Erik has an MSc (civilingenjör) from the Chalmers programme Engineering Physics with Chemical engineering.
