26 November,19:00-27 November,13:00

Welcome to a study visit at Alstom in Västerås, one of Sweden’s most important hubs for innovation and technology development in rail transport and sustainable mobility.
About Alstom
Leading societies to a low-carbon future, Alstom develops and markets mobility solutions that provide the sustainable foundations for the future of transportation. Our product portfolio ranges from high-speed trains, metros, monorail, and trams to integrated systems, customised services, infrastructure, signalling, and digital mobility solutions.
Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 80,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, with 2,000 of these located in Sweden. A great number of them work in our global R&D centres in Stockholm and Västerås. Do you want to make mobility more sustainable? Enter the multidisciplinary world of railways and visit our newly built offices at the Alstom Test and Technology Centre in Finnslätten, Västerås. Here we develop and deliver everything from Traction and Brake Systems to Train Control and Information Systems for customers worldwide. Our unique labs help us to rigorously test new products and innovations before they begin a service life that can span more than 30 years.
With lifetimes of that magnitude, our unrivalled position of having delivered the majority of trains trafficking Swedish and Nordic railways enables us to offer advanced asset life management and maintenance solutions in our state-of-the-art train workshops. Could any of the following engineering functions have the challenge you are looking for?
