Theme (4) Environment and Society workshop: Research Gaps in Circular Economy and Electromobility
30 January, 2026,13:00-15:00
The transition to a circular economy (CE) offers major opportunities for the automotive industry to reduce costs and environmental impacts. With the growing complexity of vehicle materials and the rapid rise of electric vehicles, new challenges emerge—especially around resource efficiency and recycling.
We invite you to a workshop focused on identifying research gaps in CE and electromobility relevant to SEC Theme 4: Environment & Society. Your input will help shape future research directions and strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
In the beginning of the workshop you will be listening to Owain Griffiths from Volvo Cars giving us their perspective on CE in the automotive industry.
