Join the next Swedish Electromobility Center and Theme (4) Environment & Society online webinar to hear if used truck batteries are feasible as energy storage system connected to truck charging stations.

During the webinar, Farnaz Goudarzi and Christoph Futter from Einride together with Patricia van Loon and Mats Johannson from Chalmers University of Technology and Sara Fallahi from RISE will present the results from the demonstration project BATMAN (Battery Lifecycle Management in Charging Networks).

In the project, they prepared and repurposed an used truck battery for second-life and tested the technical feasibility. They further modelled the costs of charging trucks with and without energy storage system to assess the economic feasibility. During the webinar, they will show the findings and discuss the various learnings along the way.
