“Electric vehicles as a new player in the electricity grid”

The Swedish Electromobility Center is holding the Roads to the Future conference in Stockholm on August 29 this year. The main theme is: “Electric vehicles as a new actor in the electricity grid”.

The conference highlights important aspects of the integration of a growing electric fleet into the electricity grid based on reliability, robustness, and resilience. Current issues such as preparedness and priorities will also be addressed.

Among the topics highlighted this year: What happens if the electricity supply fails? Which traffic is most important?

If you are curious to learn more about how electric vehicles and their infrastructure are developing and want to socialise with researchers within the area, this is the international meeting for you. Join us for two days of world-class presentations with a focus on the electricity grid, networking, and learning.

The meetings gather researchers, students, and professionals to promote an enthusiastic
and collaborative approach and to share knowledge across borders and fields of interest within
the scientific community and the electromobility industry.

So far we can proudly welcome the speakers Anna Teyssot, Verkor; Keith Hardy, Argonne National Laboratory; Ali Emadi, McMaster University; David Cebon, Cambridge University; and Gianfranco Rizzo, University of Salerno.
