Prof. Daniel Brandell and Doc. Cecilia Boström will present the ongoing activities within SEC at Uppsala University and thereafter Mauritz Andersson will talk about the possibilities to have electric flights.

“Electric flights with batteries – will that work?”

The climate challenge is critical and aviation accounts for a significant part of the problem. The ELISE project (Electric Aviation in Sweden) accelerates the development of electric aviation with the realization that it requires many people to work together. We are now building electric aircraft with today’s technology at the same time as we are building competence for the possibilities of the future. Within a decade, domestic aviation will be able to be largely electrified. Flying on electricity can be both resource-efficient and energy-efficient!
