SEC Doctoral Network – webinar with Magnus Granström, SAFER

On 6 November, the SEC Doctoral Network welcomes Magnus Granström from SAFER for our 2024 Network Webinar fall semester series. The talk is entitled “SAFER, the one and only collaboration platform for Road Safety in Sweden”.

 

This webinar is carefully crafted to support understanding of the role of platforms and networks like SAFER have in steering R&D. SEC Doctoral Network members who work with industry but also aim to continue their career in an industrial setting will have an opportunity to learn how such aspects build one’s research capacities.

 

Who is Magnus Granström?

Magnus Granström is a researcher, team leader and manager in the vehicle industry as well as within academia. He has a background in applied physics but has held a number of management positions both in industry, academia and joint platforms. Currently, Magnus leads SAFER, the vehicle and traffic safety research centre at Chalmers with 45 partners.

SAFER Vehicle and Traffic Safety Centre at Chalmers is a collaborative platform for research and knowledge exchange where partners from society, academia and industry acquire and share knowledge to make significant contributions to a safer road transport environment for all.
