Electrical machines are one of the key components in all types of electrified vehicles, since they are responsible for converting the electrical energy into mechanical, thus creating movement. In theme 2 we have several active projects focusing on different aspects of electrical machines, and in this seminar, we will get to know te latest advancements within five of these projects:

– Testing, Analysis and Design of Axial Flux Motors for Vehicle Applications

– Electric motor + hydraulic pump fusion for electrification

– Design of rare earth element free motors for electromobility

– E-machine design for enhanced recyclability and minimized environmental impact

– Modeling of a PMSM accounting for “position harmonics” and control
