On 7 December the SEC Doctoral Network welcome Mats-Ola Larsson and Erik Emilsson from IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute for a lunch webinar. IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute is an independent research institute in the fields of environment and sustainability, with Sweden’s most extensive environmental profile. IVL works with applied research and consulting projects in close collaboration with the private and public sectors. IVL has over 300 employees, mainly in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, but also representation in China and India.

About the speakers

Erik Emilsson is a project manager for three years at IVL, working on research and assignments relating to the sustainability of electrification of transportation, and the rest of society. Recently he has been working with resource flows of critical raw materials and lithium-ion battery recycling. Erik is an M.Sc. (civilinjenjör) from the Chalmers programme Engineering Physics with Chemical engineering. In his free time Erik enjoys climbing and running in the woods.

Mats-Ola Larsson works with electrification and sustainable mobility at IVL. He is one of the authors of the newsletter omEV (www.omev.se), which SEC hosts.
